Our Lynton Laser Hair Removal machine works by delivering intense pulses of light onto the skin. The light energy emitted by the laser is absorbed by the pigment melanin in the hair follicle, where it is converted into heat energy. The heat energy causes irreversible damage to the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding area, preventing the hairs from growing back.

 For Laser Hair Removal to be effective, hairs must be caught in their active growth phase. This is when the hair shaft is attached to the root. At any one time our hairs be in any of the 3 hair growth stages:

The Telogen 'Resting/Shedding Phase'

This is why multiple sessions are required to capture all the hairs at the right stage (The Active Growth Phase). Typically 6 to 8 treatments are required, spaced at approximately 8 weekly, for optimal results.

❌ Have a History of Light-Sensitive Conditions – If you have conditions such as lupus or photosensitivity disorders, laser treatment may not be safe.

❌ Have Recently Waxed or Plucked the Hair – The laser targets the hair follicle, so the root must be present for the treatment to be effective.
