There are many types of hair removal methods on the market but at The Laser Lounge UK we wanted to ensure we could offer our transgender and non-gender conforming clients, the safest treatment with the most amazing results. That’s why we only use the gold-standard in IPL/Laser machines, Lynton Lasers. Our machines are the same machines that are used by the NHS which means if you are a member of the Transgender Community, you are able to contact your Local Hospital for a referral to our clinic, for Laser Hair Removal.

Yes, you can have laser hair removal while on HRT for male-to-female transition. HRT may reduce the growth of new coarse hair, but laser treatments are still effective for existing hair. Since HRT can make your skin more sensitive, it's important to inform your technician so they can adjust the laser settings for safe and effective results.
Laser hair removal offers long-lasting results by permanently reducing the number of hair follicles that can grow hair. While it’s highly effective, some fine or lighter hairs may regrow over time due to hormonal changes or other factors. Occasional maintenance sessions may be needed to maintain smooth, hair-free skin.
On average you will need 10 - 12 sessions for facial hair with one session taken every 4 - 6 weeks. For body hair you will need approximately 6 - 8 sessions at 8 - 10 weekly intervals.
Laser hair removal can cause some mild discomfort, however due to our advanced Lynton Laser technology our laser treatments can be completely tailored to each individual where settings can be moved up or done to accommodate your comfort levels. Laser is often described as feeling like a rubber band is been flicked again the skin causing a warm, prickly sensation. Pain levels vary depending on the treatment area, hair type, and personal sensitivity.
